Diversity and Community Engagement Take Center Stage at 2024 DICE Awards
The Rutgers University–Camden community joined together earlier this week for the 2024 Chancellor’s Awards for Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement, an annual celebration of faculty, staff, and students. Instituted by Chancellor Antonio D. Tillis and overseen by Senior Vice Chancellor Nyeema Watson and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, the awards showcase the myriad ways individuals and teams on campus foster a more welcoming environment through research, scholarship, and service to others.
“Ours is the work of a village, and I am proud to be a part of this supportive, inclusive community,” Chancellor Tills said. “I thank Senior Vice Chancellor Watson and her amazing team for their leadership in this space. I am honored to recognize the work and strategic efforts of those across our institution who contribute daily to advancing important initiatives.”
On behalf of Rutgers–Camden, Chancellor Tillis extends heartfelt congratulations to this year’s award recipients.
